Freya is Back!!  After extensive upgrades, repairs and improvements over the past several months, Trollhaugen's Sno-cat Freya has returned to the Lodge.  This was no small task but involved hundreds of hours of volunteer work by Erick, Bjorn, Mark, Bill and many others.  Below is a partial list of improvements and repairs:
New spark plugs and wires, grease fittings, changing oil, latching cleats, right front guide wheel straightened, install dome and backup lights, clean cut for lower grill cover, interior paint, seal roof, seal windshield, exhaust stack repair, install windshield wipers, install right & left door handles, install tail lights, swap drive tires, replace suspension leaf spring, install stop lights, new decals, new mirrors, install door steps, install door windows, paint rivets, engine cover repair, new trailer plug, install bump stops, auxiliary heater & fan, install rear step, new horn, new carpet, install seats and emblems, installed door latches, new right wheel bearing, new master cylinder, refurbished fuse block label, radiator work, new fire extinguisher, new floor mats with sides, new battery switch, work on tracks, new fuel gauge, new motor mounts, new amp gauge, fuel filter, handles, right side floor repair, Primed and painted the entire body, install tach, relocate backup alarm, repaired turn signals, install battery vent, worked on beacon light, worked on gear shift, rewired dash and ignition.

    ACTIVITIES

Miles of Cross Country Skiing, Snow Shoeing, Hiking and Biking trails.  Outdoor

Stage and Dance Platform,  Hot tub, Horseshoe Pits, Sports Fields and Children's Play Area.  A private retreat in the beautiful Cascades to enjoy a variety of activities.

         SERVICES

 

Nestled in the Washington State Cascade  Mountains 10 miles East of Snoqualmie Summit.  Overnight bunk bed accommodations for 56 persons or day use visitors.  Full double range kitchen, hot tub, showers, coin operating washer/dryer, meeting rooms and summertime dance platform.  Sno-Cat transportation to and from parking lot available during winter snow season.

           GUESTS

 Trollhaugen Lodge is a recreation facility open to all District #2 Sons of Norway members and their guests, including
single persons and small groups to conferences and weddings.

What to bring for overnight stays:  bedding (sleeping bags) food, beverages, toiletries including soap & towels,  personal items, weather appropriate clothing including rubber boots in the winter months.

Guests are expected to leave the kitchen and all areas clean after use and vacuum bedrooms before departing.
